COMPUSHIFT is a 20 MIP DSP based computer that was custom designed by HGM Automotive Electronics Inc., as an Electronic Transmission Controller. COMPUSHIFT is NOT a modified factory computer and it does NOT need a laptop or PC to be completely programmed. COMPUSHIFT is designed and manufactured in the United States. The CPU is manufactured by an ISO 9000 certified, high reliability aerospace manufacture using the latest computer automated multi-layer surface mount manufacturing technique. Every unit is tested in a custom designed ATE station and all components are military temperature rated. A complete thermal, worst case and stress analysis has been performed upon the COMPUSHIFT unit.
